A Child Care Center That Feels Like Home

A close-knit community

A Small, Home-Like Child Care Center

Located in Chesterfield, Michigan, Tots Learning Center combines the warmth and comfort of a home-like setting with the structure and resources of a licensed child care center. Our smaller environment gives children a comfortable place to learn, play and grow while becoming part of a close-knit community.

Tots was designed to feel less like a large daycare and more like a place where children can truly feel at home. With just three classrooms, our teachers get to know each child personally while providing care and activities appropriate for every stage.

Safe, Secure & Designed for Child Care

A welcoming environment should also be a secure one. Tots features an advanced secured-entry system with restricted access, along with cameras and a fully fenced outdoor play area to help provide a safe, controlled environment for the children in our care.

In addition to our physical safeguards, our experienced staff are thoroughly background-checked, fully vetted, and certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid. We enforce strict check-in and check-out verification procedures to ensure only authorized guardians are granted access. Together, these layers of security create a safe, controlled setting where your child can freely learn, play, and explore without worry.

A Backyard Built for Outdoor Play

Our large, shaded backyard gives children plenty of room to get outside, move and explore. Three mature trees provide natural shade, while age-appropriate play equipment gives children of different ages their own ways to enjoy the space.

Room to Play and Learn

Child Care Spaces for Every Stage

From our infant room to our preschool classroom, each space at Tots is purposefully designed to support the unique developmental milestones of every age group. We carefully arrange our learning areas to encourage sensory discovery for babies, active motor skills for toddlers, and school-readiness activities for preschoolers.

By maintaining low student-to-teacher ratios in smaller classroom settings, we give children ample room to play, explore, and collaborate—without ever losing the individualized attention and warmth that makes Tot’s feel like home. Every child receives the focused guidance, comfort, and encouragement they need to build confidence at their own pace.
